Description: The five board San Domingo mahogany thumb-molded top over a telescoping stretcher flanked by two drop-down Sheraton legs with “A. Thorp” marked brass casters and a Neoclassic swivel action trestle-base pier table.  A subtle Clark Kent type hall table that transforms into the Superman of dining room tables, seating two to fourteen according to the host’s needs.  10′ 2″ long, 54″ W., 30″  NYC Brazier Andrew Thorp’s stamp marks appear on feet cuffs of several documented Phyfe tables.  Circa 1815, beautiful patina, several minor repairs consistent with a well-maintained antique.
